Before rushing of into the here and now, mainly because it seems as though nothing sufficiently significant has happened in the past few weeks, I would like to begin with a meander through the summer.
When I canvass I'm amazed at the love that God has for each one of us. As I went through the summer God took the time to build and shape my character (which is what I asked for before coming). That God would shape trials and tribulations just for me is amazing. In a grander scope, God worked on my character and He was calling the people at the doors to come back to Him. I try not to think about it too often because it is mindbogglingly just to try and imagine the complexity that is involved with the salvation of each individual soul plus every other soul on top of that one.
There four experiences from this summer that I think really capture the summer in a nutshell.
(I'll post them in small bite size pieces so that you don't have to read an obnoxiously long blog post. Though in reality it all amounts to the same)
